1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Trevolo ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
Trevolo is a marketplace platform that connects customers with local service providers ("Businesses"). Trevolo provides scheduling and booking technology but is not itself a service provider. All services are provided by independent third-party Businesses.
3. User Accounts
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. Trevolo uses one-time passcodes (OTP) delivered by email for authentication.
4. Business Owner Obligations
Business owners using Trevolo agree to:
- Provide accurate information about services, pricing, and availability.
- Honor confirmed bookings made through the Platform.
- Comply with all applicable laws and licensing requirements in their jurisdiction.
- Maintain appropriate liability insurance for their services.
5. Booking and Payment
Trevolo facilitates booking scheduling only. Payment for services is collected directly by the Business provider — not by Trevolo. Trevolo's fees are charged to Businesses via subscription plans or per-booking credits. Customers do not pay Trevolo directly for bookings.
6. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation policies are set by individual Business providers. Trevolo's platform allows cancellations at any time before the appointment; however, Businesses may independently enforce their own cancellation and refund policies outside the platform.
7. Prohibited Use
You agree not to: use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service; submit false or misleading information; interfere with the proper working of the Platform; scrape, copy, or redistribute Platform data without permission.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and technology on the Platform are the property of Trevolo or its licensors. Users grant Trevolo a non-exclusive license to use content they submit (such as business names and descriptions) solely for operating the Platform.
9. Limitation of Liability
Trevolo is not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by Businesses. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trevolo's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Trevolo in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
Trevolo reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that engage in conduct harmful to other users or the Platform.
11. Changes to Terms
Trevolo may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
